What are your clinical interests and specializations?
I have worked in a wide variety of setting including home health and skilled nursing, but I have always been most interested in orthopedics. I enjoy treating a wide variety of diagnoses and I provide an individualized approach to caring for each patient.
What inspired you to become a physical therapist?
I've always been interested in science and health, and I was inspired to become a physical therapist after I had an accident during college. I fell off of a horse and broke my pelvis and required physical therapy in order to get back to walking and all of the other things I liked to do. I was instantly drawn to physical therapy as a career because I get to have a high level of personal interaction with my patients while utilizing science in order to help them eliminate pain and get back to all of the activities they enjoy.
What do you appreciate most about working at Creative Rehab?
I appreciate that I get to spend a full hour, one-on-one, with my patients which allows me to provide the best care for that patient. I enjoy the team environment and working alongside other wonderful therapists.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.
