What are your professional interests and specializations?
Helping patients understand insurance and providing benefit information at the time of service is my focus to help prevent any surprise bills to our patients. I also work directly with insurance companies and workers compensation agencies to avoid denials that may affect coverage of services. I take part in the day to day clinic functions to make sure our therapists and patients' needs are fulfilled. I facilitate and organize clinical education courses to therapists offered through Creative Research, Education and Training (CREAT), a company performing clinical research started and taught by Anita Davidson PT, DPT.
What do you appreciate most about working at Creative Rehab?
Patient interaction has always been one of the most rewarding qualities of my job at Creative Rehab. Providing that "at home" feeling to our patients from the first phone call to the moment they are discharged especially after a tough surgery or a past unpleasant front desk experience. The special bonds I have made over the years with my coworkers and our patients is something I strongly value.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Family is my main priority therefor my husband, my daughter and my parents occupy most of my spare time. When time allows, I enjoy party planning for my family and friends' events such as birthdays, baby showers, quinceaneras and weddings. I also love a good read, going to the movies, concerts and musical theater.
