Certified Lymphedema Therapist through Klose Training

What are your clinical interests and specializations?
Oncology rehabilitation (post reconstructive surgeries, post radiation treatments, cancer related fatigue, other loss of function due to cancer treatments) and certified lymphedema therapist.
What inspired you to become a physical therapist?
I always knew I needed to be in the healthcare field from an early love of biology and anatomy/physiology classes. Physical therapy appealed to me because of the close one-on-one connections, ability to improve patient’s health and function with a continued focus on wellness. I love working with people!
What do you appreciate most about working at Creative Rehab?
I love the team here and have fun collaborating with my co-workers. There is an internal drive at Creative Rehab to continue educating yourself as well as each other. The best part for me is being able to start an oncology program here and reach out to the community in need of this service.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I have been married to my best friend since 1999 and we have three beautiful, funny children so my family occupies most of my spare time. I do love to read, garden, sing, exercise, travel and spend time with friends and our extended family.
