Elevating Your Game through Personalized Care

Whether you are training for your first 5K or competing at the collegiate level, your recovery shouldn't be left to chance. At Creative Rehab, we combine our decades of clinical expertise with advanced motion analysis to return you to your sport safely and more efficiently than ever before. We don’t just treat your injury; we provide the strengthening, education, and actionable tips needed to decrease pain and optimize your athletic foundation.

Our Creative Difference

What sets us apart from local running stores or high-volume physical therapy clinics is our commitment to 1-on-1 expert care and data-driven results.

  • Clinical Gait & Motion Analysis: We use OnForm software to analyze your specific biomechanics during your run or sport. This allows us to identify hidden limitations and compare your current form to ideal performance metrics.

  • 1-on-1 with a Licensed PT: You will never be handed off to an aide or tech; every minute of your session is spent with an experienced Physical Therapist who understands the demands of your sport.

  • Consistency in Recovery: You stay with the same PT throughout your entire journey, ensuring your progression is seamless and your "why" is always understood. Each session is able to build on the last when your therapist is consistent.

  • Functional Head-to-Toe Focus: We address the root cause of your pain, whether it's a hip instability causing knee pain or neck tightness affecting your pitching arm, to prevent future issues.

What We Treat

  • Running Injuries: Runner’s knee, shin splints, IT band syndrome, back or hip pain, and plantar fasciitis

  • Field & Court Sports: ACL/MCL tears, meniscus injuries, joint pain, and chronic ankle instability

  • Overhead & Power Sports: Rotator cuff strains, labral tears, joint pain and "tennis elbow"

  • Water Sports: Shoulder pain, labral tears, back pain, and knee pain

Running Assessments

During a Running Assessment, the runner begins with a 6-minute warm-up to establish their running form. The PT records the runner from the side and back for 30-60 seconds each, then reviews the footage together using movement analysis software This visual feedback helps the runner make necessary corrections. The PT will also offer form recommendations and a tailored strength and mobility program based on the assessment.

Benefits of a Running Assessment:
  • Address faulty running mechanics broken down by running phase and joint

  • Discover key areas of weakness that could cause pain or injury

  • Identify mobility limitations, which increase energy expenditure and stress joints

  • Develop a customized plan to reach your goals

  • Track progress with changes in form, strength, and mobility

What does a running assessment cost?

Assessments and follow up visits can be run through your insurance even if you do not have a current injury. Cost would be dependent on your insurance benefits. Give us a call and we can look up your benefits and provide more accurate information.

Initial Running Assessment
Can a running assessment improve my performance, not just treat pain?

Definitely! We see several runners who have no pain. These runners are looking to improve their efficiency. By identifying faulty or inefficient mechanics, we can often improve their pace and decrease energy expenditure as well as stress on joints.
