Creative Rehab celebrates 22 years in business on March 1, 2020. This milestone is not taken lightly as being a privately owned small business is more and more challenging in today's healthcare world.
Anita Davidson PT, DPT, CEO and founder of Creative Rehab, started the business out of the room above her garage in 1998. According to Davidson, her motivation to start the company was to provide "the type of quality, innovative and personal evaluation and treatment that [she] felt patients deserved." As her full body, functional approach became more and more noticed by the community and doctors, she added staff that supported the company's brand and moved to a small clinic. Creative Rehab continued to grow in size and community recognition over the years until the changes in healthcare in 2012. At its height, Creative Rehab had two locations, one in Gurnee, IL and the other in Libertyville, IL with 17 employees. After 2012, both clinics were consolidated to a new space where we currently reside in Gurnee, IL.
As a privately owned clinic in a corporate and hospital run healthcare market, Creative Rehab continues its work to maintain its spot in the community. Not only to keep the business going but to further treat patients at a higher level than other business models. When asked what Anita Davidson attributes her 22 years in business to she highlights 3 key components:

#3) Lastly, but not least, our amazing professionals that support our vision on a day to day basis are a key to our success. Our success is expanded exponentially through our therapists and support personnel by their commitment to our mission and vision through each interaction they have. I continue to learn from them and truly appreciate the value they give to the community and Creative Rehab's success.
