The off-season is a critical time for an athlete. Not only does it give the athlete time to recover and rest from the strenuous season they just finished, but it also gives them time to address weaknesses that they'd like to improve upon before they go back to their sport. Because of our committment to athletes, the Creative Rehab team has developed an offseason program to help athletes prevent injury and enhance performance.
Why should you do off-season conditioning at Creative Rehab?
This program will provide high intensity, functional training utilizing core, agility, and sports specific exercises. Creative
Rehab's licensed Physical Therapists who developed Functional Fun & Fitness for the offSeason Athlete have used their expertise in the body and movement to create a program that emphasizes injury prevention and enhanced performance.
What are the objectives of Functional Fun & Fitness for the Off-Season Athlete?
Balance: Improve dynamic balance through all planes of motion.
Strength: Maximize core and pelvic stabilizer muscles to enhance performance.
Agility: Improve agility and stability with sports specific requirements.
Performance: Maximize stability, mobility, and agility to support enhanced sport performance.
Educate: Describe the specifics of sport requirements and general athletic injury prevention techniques to both athlete and parent.
Who would benefit from this program?
This program is designed to benefit both male and female athletes of every sport. Currently Functional Fun & Fitness for the Off-Season Athlete is intended for athletes between the ages of 13 and 18 with sessions conducted in small groups. What is expected of the athletes who participate in this program?
Show up on time.
Wear appropriate clothes.
Actively communicate concerns and sports related issues.
Learn for long term health.
Where: Libertyville Clinic: 1781 Northwind Boulevard
When: Sessions will be conducted twice a week for 5 weeks. Each session will last one hour.
Session Dates: 6/20, 6/22, 6/27, 6/29, 7/11, 7/13, 7/18, 7/20, 7/24, 7/26
Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Option #1: $210 for the 5 week program (10 sessions)
Option #2: $300 for the 5 week program plus an individual pre-training evaluation and re-evaluation at the conclusion of
